We’ve all been there–you’re in the middle of a text message, email, or thesis paper. A complex emotion arises and you MUST get it down. With only a keyboard at your disposal, all you really have to use is :, ), (, ‘, and D among few others. How primitive! Next time you feel the urge to emote through type, try Emotitype! It’s a TrueType font easily installable on any computer. A legend is also available in the download to help you find just the right emotion.

This reminds me of those art books I used to have as a child with different grids of different eyes, mouths and hairstyles. Oh yeah, maybe next time I’ll include hair!
Let me know how it works out!

I found your DIY on an HP DV1000 and I have the same model. How did you take the LCD apart? I found the maintenance manuals online but they only talk about removing the whole panel from the system. Great job btw. Your frame looks great.

A lot of screws went into keeping that screen together. I had to pry the main-body case from the hinge, ruining it. The main screws are under the rubber feet around the screen. Good luck, let me see how it turns out!
