I know no one reads this website and I know stating this fact actually lowers one’s blog-reading audience. But I am back!
I want to record the progress of my senior thesis project in an easy to refer to way, mostly a tool for myself. The project won’t start until next summer but experiments will show up on here as soon as possible.
THE PROJECT:
I want to marry radio and video to explain an idea: a narrative, documentary or abstract concept, that can not be more completely portrayed using only video (with sound) or audio alone. Portions of this “video” will be totally black. These radio sections might be stretches of time when our narrator explains the love one character is experiencing for another. Or drama may be created to only hear a car crash instead of see it.
I have just started to brainstorm about this project and I want to do some experiments. I want to learn how to use sound to tell a story. I want to start seeing life in the way I want my project to appear/sound.
So if you read this blog, and read at least to here, give me a comment! Let me know of an idea that you think fits my criteria. I may very well use it! And if I get a real comment from a real person, I promise I will respond to everyone who does so with a cute video. My word!

Thinking about this since yesterday. In some of the best drama and horror films in history, the pivotal action is not seen.
At these points, they symbol of what happens can become visible, or there can sometimes be nothing, forcing you to listen and think.
So I picture you expanding this to an experimental level? Or is this even the direction you are talking about?
Now where’s my cute video!
