The past few days have given me, I think, five instances of people saying ‘regardless’ to or around me. Every time I wonder if they are consciously distinguishing between the correct word and the non-existent ‘irregardless’. It was that moment..the one just a few moments ago, that I realized everyone who has ever said that word probably makes that distinction every time they say it. Just think of the applications!
